Here are free, original, desktop backgrounds. If you like them, let us know. They are created for dual monitors (2560x1024) and then some are re-cropped for single monitors (1280x1024). In Windows, the best way to get the dual monitor versions to spread accross both screens is to right click on the image after you've opened it in IE or firefox, click on "set as background" and choose "tile" mode. Make sure your monitors are set to the correct resolution to get the best effect. Example: Two monitors each set at 1280x1024 would be the best settings for the dual monitor 2560x1024 backgrounds.
